Switch-on day, Saturday 8th December, brought wet, wild and windy weather, but the visitors have arrived and enjoyed the spectacle of Haughton’s many lights then and in the days that followed.

A freezing cold Friday was followed by more wet, wild and windy weather on Saturday 15th December, which meant that, unfortunately, the annual Santa Run had to be cancelled.

Is it going to be one of those rainy seasons?  Just when the lights come on it seems to start to drizzle or pour.  But many people have been undeterred, wanting to enjoy Haughton’s brilliantly bright lights - and Saturday 22nd December was a dry and perfect night.

Who is this in the window?  And are those his reindeer waiting for him just outside?
