Locally-produced ice cream, just a short jaunt along Jolt Lane

The old Red Lion Farm was a familiar landmark to people passing through Haughton on their way to or from Shropshire and Wales, with its persuasive signs for home-made ice cream and its well-stocked farm shop.  A new farmhouse was built a short distance away, and the old farmhouse and surrounding buildings were knocked down in 1999 and replaced by a small development of houses.

Red Lion Jersey ice cream is available here, together with eggs, honey, potatoes and other produce.
