Haughton and District Garden and Countryside Guild
was formed more than 40 years ago. Over 120 members belong to the Guild. In addition to the monthly meetings, occasional visits to formal gardens, usually National Trust properties, take place. The Annual Show in September has competitions and awards in over 60 classes of Flowers, Fruit and Vegetables, etc.

Garden Guild Annual Show 2017
Garden Guild activities for 2020 have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak. The March meeting was held shortly before lockdown, and annual membership was opened. The April and May meetings were cancelled, as was the summer trip to Arley Hall. After lockdown began the Plant Sale was cancelled, and there will be no monthly meetings until further notice.
